Almond Cookies
It tastes so good and very soft, like a sugar cake should!
Ingredients
Biscuit Blend
- 2 3/4 cup cake flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup unsalted butter
- 2/3 cups shorten
- 2 per egg
- 2 tbsp of almond extract
- 1 cup flour flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
additional
- 1 packet of raw sugar
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 ° F
- Cream sugar, butter, and white butter
- Stir in eggs and almond extract
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dried mixture to the sugar mixture.
- Stir until well combined.
- Mix for 30 minutes
- Roll the mixture into 2 tablespoons ball
- Roll the dough ball into the raw sugar
- Place on a nonstick pan and bake for 7-8 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and gently press on flat with a spoon while still warm.
- Return mixture to refrigerator between batches.
- Silence on the cooling rack.
